In August 2025, Petra Tang visited Western Springs college to teach students about stellar spectra, the origin of elements, and of course LISA!

Students from Years 9 to 13 participated in a hands-on session in which they saw first-hand how spectroscopy can distinguish one element from another.

This outreach was well received, and the teachers at Western Springs College are hoping for more visits from NZ Gravity!
