This year, Laura Burn from NZ gravity was chosen to give a talk at Auckland’s Raising the Bar – a yearly series of informal general-audience talks about academics’ research topics.

Laura captivated the audience with a talk on the history of astronomy, taking them on a journey from the star-gazing of old to today’s cutting-edge space telescopes.
